Why this 2026 World Cup is unique , unlike many others in the past and in the near future.

It just hit me, how this World Cup is so unique in that it has managed to bring together the top goal scorers of all time from these major football powers:

* Argentina — Lionel Messi
* Portugal — Cristiano Ronaldo
* France — Kylian Mbappé
* England — Harry Kane
* Norway — Erling Haaland
* Brazil — Neymar
* Belgium — Romelu Lukaku
* Netherlands — Memphis Depay
* Colombia — James Rodríguez

Really, to think about it , it will be a long time before you manage to get this many times to another World Cup, since most of these are gone by the next World Cup

What is amazing is that all of these players are actually living up to the hype. Usually, the leading scorer is rarely the top 4 players that you would expect.

OMG Bani, was thinking of exact same thing, that all the top players we predicted would be top scorers, are so far leading in that category. It will be interesting what the final chart will look like, since scoring at this world cup seems much easier than ever, with the art of good defense looking like a thing of the past.
