how much does the loss to Argentina have to do with how motivated France is this time ? I feel like it is a huge reason. In other words, while winning the World Cup is of course their primary objective, taking revenge from Argentina from 2022 is the other big reason.
That wasn’t just a loss. But the manner in which they lost, the way some Argentine players behaved during the game , after and during their celebration back home and all these songs mocking the team and Mbappe etc. And of course , and even though he is not part of the team now, that historic miss by Kolo Muan in the dying seconds is the icing on the cake.
Part of me do wants them to meet up with Argentina and get their revenge. Only problem with that is that it means Brazil will not have made it to the the final.
