What is Assyrians' Population?

This might sound stupid, but i realy dont knw how many Assyrian we have in NZ, when i was in Canada people always asked me i didnt know what to answer so many people ask me this question i never have answer for it i need to find out  :bangin:

Between 5k-10k ...i would say
 
I got these number from the 2006 Canadian Census. It is the most recent one, our next one will be 2011.

Assyrian  8,650 

Iraqi 29,955

Kurd  9,205 


There is no way we only have this many Assyrians in Canada. I think that number is wrong for the Assyrians because i know a few families who put Iraqi instead of Assyrian. So the number for Iraqi has a lot of Assyrians in it. Plus we have a lot of Assyrians who aren't legal here yet that weren't counted. lol

Kurds have more people in the census than us. Come on Assyrians on the next census for get about this Iraqi crap and put Assyrian. The arguments i had on the last census with relatives was great over this.

Danny, good question. Not to hijack this, but can we get better titles please? I would never click on this, but I only did to change the topic line.

Can you imagine, I noticed in the last few days, there was at least three topics with the title "Question"

Now if we didn't change these, how would people know which is which, or what to click on?

Better titles please, makes more people click, and makes the forum look nicer and more professional.

There should be more, Kuwait is not even on the list. I have family that live in Kuwait.

Plus I believed that has nothing to do with with other name title like Suryoyo, Arameans, Chaldean ect
