What does a Turkish restaurant owner have to do with Argentina winning the World Cup?

This is such a funny story from yesterday’s word cup celebration.

So called ‘sale bae’ , a man who became famous for extremely expensive steaks and essentially sprinkling salt on steaks, somehow made it to the field to join the players in their celebration and they wanted nothing to do with it lol. In fact, you could see Messi clearly not happy with him being there and I don’t blame him one bit. Who or why the heck did FIFA officials allow him on the field? What the hell does he have to do with Argentina winning the WC? Just because some of the players - including Messi, Maradona and others from their NT- have been to his restaurant? If we are going by fame and money alone, the field would get filled with people and it would get chaotic.

Heck I am even against Aguero inserting himself into the celebration. He could have joined them in the locker room maybe but don’t steal the highlight on the field. That should be for players, coaching staff, and their families.

I was wondering who that fellow was. I had no idea but you have now answered it for me. Strange to give a nobody like that permission to enter the field.

I disagree with you on Aguero though. Barring his health condition, he would have been in that Argentine squad and he is very close friends with Messi and di Maria. Messi is the god father of Benjamin Aguero (Sergio's son and Maradona's grand son). Martin Boyle was out of the Australian squad due to injury but he was allowed to stay with the squad and you often saw him with his crutches in the team huddles along with the coach. Players love it. I have no doubt that the Argies loved having Sergio Aguero there.
