read the entire article and I'm not sure what to believe at this moment.

The article says how the NPU is pretty much under shi'a militia control but I thought that was part of the plan so that the NPU can get funding as a legit force by the Iraqi government.

Then again, it only proves my assumptions that only people should make armies and militias, not political parties...

Politicians like Younadam Kanna is doing a pretty good job. He is realistic and making good relations with dominated powers in the region. In my opinion, what he is doing much more HELP FOR OUR PEOPLE THERE than for example Ashur Giwargis's politics which is unrealistic and against all around us

The article is very disappointing, mostly due to the vitriolic overtones which it displays. I believe that Sangari ought to be held accountable for what he accuses Kanna of and many other statements which he is making that serve to only harm his own people. I know who Sangari is, I knew his late uncle. I hate to say this, my own parents being Iranian Assyrians, but here we have another example of an Assyrian from Iran who is leveling accusations and making statements about Iraqi politics. Trying to portray Kanna as an anti-American supporter of Shiite terrorism, when Kanna is a Christian, is utter insanity and serves to only bring harm. Associating Kanna with Barham Saleh and leftist Kurd elements is just a false statement meant to defame Kanna. Anyways, Kanna is in California and I doubt Sangari will be the one who gets the last laugh.
