ASAPScience video says that, in 1,000 years, the 7,000 languages of Earth will simply to under 100 languages due to globalization and urbanization.

Will Syriac be part of those <100 languages?

Will our ancient language, which has already survived thousands of years, survive another thousand?

They're so wrong about this. Have they forgotten about overpopulation? More people, more variety of language.

Languages will evolve and they will be new diversions here and there. The 7,000 languages would likely be around 2,000 or 1. NOT 100....Very bold prediction there...

World population decline by 2050, apparently.

Yes but considering we're spread all over the world in liberal countries that allow us to create Syriac schools, our language can definitely survive another 1000. Especially with modernization being done by our language institutes.
