2010 FIFA World Cup - Robinho and Kaka laughs in-training

The two forward players missing from Brazil's awful 0-0 draw with Portugal on Friday have been filmed together taking on the Crossbar Challenge, made famous by Soccer AM, during Brazil training.

Both Robinho and Kaka will be restored to the line-up against Chile on Tuesday and will be key to breaking down a defence missing two first choice defenders due to suspension.

Yesterday in training, the Real Madrid Galactico and Santos forward aimed to hit the crossbar from the edge of the box (rather than the halfway line on Soccer AM in the UK).

On the evidence of this footage, Kaka is still struggling to find his form in South Africa, Robinho has pinpoint accuracy and some of the Brazilian coaching staff are also pretty handy.

My friend and I were doing this the other day at training, except the goal was being moved.  Try that Robinho; a moving target.

we want them to practice putting the ball in the net not the cross bar lool

This was a Brazilian coaching technique I believe.  Aiming at the post for accuracy.  They don't do it anymore for that reason. lol

Jon, what do you mean moving? while you were shooting, or you kept changing its position.

The goals have wheels on them so they can be moved, if slightly tilted forward.  So the goal was moving, and we were stationary.

Why you didn't become a multi-million dollar soccer player is beyond me.

He never learned to sell a dive, and you can't go far in today's game without that skill.

Just because you speak English, doesn't mean you can or would want to write novels.  And what Jacob says... Kind of...  Well, injuries from diving too much can affect you too.
