(United stats postal service) i bought something from the US and its getting shipped from there to Australia, does anyone know how long it usually takes?

I didn't know that the USPS ships internationally...  But it should take some time.  Save yourself a headache next time and ship with FedEx.

well the last time i shipped something to australia from the states, i was told that they only ship priority now.  It got there in less than a week if i remember correctly.


I had a package that was 2.2lbs. and i tried to ship it through UPS (similar to Fedex) and it came out to around $250.  USPS is definitely the cheapest way to go, but it does take a lil longer.

Didn't they give you a code that u can go online and track it so you would know where is it and when it's going to get there?

Same as Noon for me.  I've shipped two things to Australia and they were around a week or so.  And yes it was better than UPS or FedEx, which I've used for shipping to Europe.

Cool thanks guys, i dont mind waiting 1-2 weeks as long as its not 1 month or something that would be depressing

it takes 6 to 10 days and plus their not busy now so it should get there fast a week at the most
