Two Assyrians from S?dert?lje Star in their Sweden?s National Team Debut.

Louay Chanko and Suleyman Sleymans play in blue & yellow could not have ended better. They both played for Sweden in Monday night?s international match against Costa Rica. The match was played before 6 000 spectators on Estadio Saprissa in Costa Rica's capital San Jos?.

Defenceman Suleyman Sleyman center formed the defensive pair with another debutant Gothenburg's Mattias Bj?rsmyr.

Joining him on the national team middfileder was Louay Chanko. Chanko played great.

There was however occasions when the communication between Sleyman and the goalkeeper Johan Wiland did not go smoothly.
Both Louay Chanko and Suleyman Sleyman were replaced in the second half. In in their place, Daniel Andersson and Peter Larsson came in.

The Costa Rica game was the year's first international match. Next is played against USA in Los angeles on Saturday Jan. 19 at The Home Depot Center.

I don't think Kennedy plays in exibition matches. I think he's only there when it counts. But I could be wrong. I saw him play when I was in Denmark (Sweden vs Denmark) I didn't realize he was Assyrian at the time until one of the Danes said, "Didn't Kennedy play with Assyriska?"

Sure enough, it was the same guy, and immidiately I switched over haha. So much fun. I can't remember the final score thanks to the alochol consuption but I do remember Denmark being eliminated and me getting beat up because of it.....haha
