Talk about the greatest comeback in history, wow! Only Trump could have done what was done this week, after what he went through last few years, with all the attacks, accusations, media and celebrities being united against him, courts, indictments and so much more. Anyone else, would have given up long time ago and not bothered. But this guy, he is something else and is the ultimate Teflon.
I have watched and followed so much of the coverage around the election, including being up till 3 AM until we got the confirmation that he was elected president.
What is frustrating, despite Republicans winning decisively, both the Presidency and Senate, and likely the House, Democrats and their lap dogs in the media not only will not admit defeat, they are blaming everyone and anything you can think of, but themselves and their party's increasingly weird deviation from reality. For example, they are much more concerned with what pronouns you have in your signature, than whether you can afford to put food on the table. They are much more interested in open borders and flooding the country with illegal immigrants, than to take care of their existing citizens. Or that the state and pink-haired teachers should be the ones calling the shot on your kids and what they call themselves, than their own parents.
People have had enough, including lifelong Democrats, who have always voted blue, but not this time. People can only be pushed around so much.
Trump, despite his flawed character, spoke to the people and what mattered to them in terms of issues. That is why, even Latinos voted for him in large numbers, because most of them came here legally and worked hard to attain the American dream and don't like it when these caravans of immigrants come here and conveniently try to shortcut the American dream. Heck, even Arab Muslims in places like El Cajon, CA and Dearborn, MI voted overwhelmingly for Trump, because they just know as crazy as he is, the party itself is not as crazy as the Democratic party is and has been over the last 5-10 years.
At the end of the day, most people care about the issues Trump talked about , including safety, affordability and not letting the state or social bureaucrats, call the shots on major social issues.
I just hope Trump doesn't go on a revenge spree, to get back at those who hurt him last few years. This doesn't help him, nor does it help the country heal and unite.
