Wouldn't it be great if we somehow came out with a list of Top 10 Assyrian songs ever.

First everyone give their top 10 and then maybe we can compile them. This is one category that includes all songs i.e. Nationalistic, love, folk etc. etc.

 
The whole Ashur Bet Sargis collection......
No other Assyrian singer can compare, sorry!
Maybe just maaaaaaaybe Evin's Khazadeh song, but that's about it  :)

Btw peachy just thought I'd make you jealous I talked to him on the phone a few weeks ago while he was in Chicago cause my friend went to visit him.I told him I wanna hire him for my wedding to sing "Hala Leet" he told me im crazy and to stay in school. LOL!

I dont understand what he sings. And that is why those slow songs make me fall asleep. Except voor Beth Nahrin and Ya Sara. I did not include him in my list because he is not one of my favourites.

Haha he is the best. Once he was on paltalk and he said that he will pinch my cheeks if he sees me :blush2:. I would hire him for my wedding if he was living here for sure.
 
i'd never be able to come up with a top 10 list cuz well, i dont know the names of any songs..

but i love janan sawa, juliana jendo, lazar malko.. yeah, theyre my favourite singers  :wavetowel: :wavetowel: :wavetowel:

Please if Ashur had a son do you think Id let you guys now. I woulda had Ashur Sargis Jr grand babies already  :giggle: Ashur just has a daughter and a granddaughter as well :)

But Mr. Albert Rouel has a mighty good looking son whose in his late 20s...he was playing the doombak at one of Alberts concerts or whatever.
