On this radio program I listen to nighly, so many calls are about people's experiences with OUIJI BOARD, and how freaky it is if you mess with it.

I have never been in contac with an OUIJI BOARD, nor do I know how it looks like, but the things I am hearing about is are truly freaky. I want to ask you guys if you: beleive in it, if you ever experienced it in person, and what is the power behind this paranormal power?

If you think it is all fake, please provide an answer to why so many people have had a bad experience with it. You can't just say "it is all in their head, there is nothing out there..."

check out the satan post. invitation of spirits is the outcome of such a game. i've had some experience from other people when they say they felt cold or felt another power taking over them.

ashoor, if u want ot play that game, play it in someone elses house.. ive heard some disturbing stories of that game, my bestfriend has played it, he says it F*ked up...

I've done it before...

Here is the board:

Basically what you do is you ask questions to the board and then it directs this piece to the answer of either yes or no or it'll spell out the answer.

What you're doing is calling upon spirits..and I really doubt that any spirit is good so I"ve heard of peoples houses having spirits present after they use it. It's pretty bad, I don't think I would ever do it again.

This sums it up best:
"It all may start harmlessly enough, perhaps with a Ouija board. [...] The Ouija will often bring startling information, [...] establishing credibility or identifying itself as someone who is dead. It is common that people who get into this sort of game think of themselves as having been "chosen" for a special task. [...] Quite often the Ouija turns vulgar, abusive or threatening. It grows demanding and hostile, and sitters may find themselves using the board [...] compulsively, as if "possessed" by a spirit, or hearing voices that control or command them."
- Satan Trap: Dangers of the Occult

...this is similar to all the stories i heard from different people whove played around with it. Whether it's a psycological thing or not i dont know...but either way im staying the hell away from it!

A skeptic/scientific explanation is here http://skepdic.com/ouija.html ("ideomotor effect").

The bible forbids consulting fortune tellers or asking questions to dead spirits! This only works for people who believe in spirits and are expecting them to make contact. If you wish to contact the dead, there are many methods to do so and one of them is the Ouja board. But I dont know why someone would wana play around with something like that?

Hi,

I'm here to let you all know that spirits don't exist. The ouija board is a result of the answers that your mind anticipates. Just remember, you have control of the muscles in your arms, and if something was going to drag your hand over a ouija board and you were conscious, it wouldn't be a slow steady motion. :D SCIENCE RULES, spirits suck :devilboogie:

I took a course in witchcraft and occult phenomena as an elective. My prof was a voodoo practitioner (or so she said). Even SHE told us that ouija boards are BS. Therefore, they're BS.

like i said before...if you think their bs then you wont see any strange activities....if you believe in them then you will see.

the people that i know that played told me that u dont actually place ur hand on top of the cursor, instead, u place it over it, so ur hand is never in contact witht he cursor, u let it move freely.

most who have played it told me it works, and some told me it didnt, i gues it works for some people.

I've used it before.
VERY Trippy!

I didn't know it was a sin, I last used it on my 17th birthday in my basement. I regret it, but I live and learn. If you know where your beliefs stand, there shouldn't be a problem, but again, live and learn. Everyone will believe what they wanna believe, so what ever I say is pointless.

Ive played this board about 5 to 6 times in my life and Its all a bunch of crap. The only reason the icon moves is because everyone is focusing so much on it moving that they unknowingly apply a tiny bit of pressure causing a reaction in the other people touching the icon and so people are in such disbelief that this thing is moving that they are thinking of removing their hand from the icon and thats how you get the icon to move all over the board spelling 2 to 4 letter words almost all the time... Its not freaky at all its more fun than anything I mean if you want a rush on a spontanious rainy day with thunder this is the way to go..
