Love Paul John Watson, watched all his videos including Milo Yinappolis, Alex Jones, Sargon of Akkad and Blaire White.

Not sure who Alex Jones it, though.
I just googled him and I actually know him (he had a fight with Cenk Uygur). I just didn't know his name. He's the person where you know the face, but not the name.Mr. Tambourine Man said::eekout:
He's like the biggest meme.

Okay, maybe he was overreacting and trying to over-sensationalize the whole thing, but he is right that modern popular culture is at its worse today. He was focusing on mainstream pop culture anyway. You're right that there is good culture out there. So it's not like he was "picking" on the rest too.Kelba said:I'm going to go with a different take on this. I watched the whole video and thought it was garbage. Vulgarity, sexual imagery, prostitution, and celebrity worship has been part of human culture since the dawn of time. It has nothing to do with modern pop culture. Just look up Giacomo Casanova, or read up on how many classical music composers had STIs.
The stuff starting at 6:00 is garbage. 6:50 he claims celebrities who challenge pop culture are immediately dispensed off, but I can think of many cases otherwise.
At 9:00, he randomly transitions from blaming music to blaming identity politics. There was no logic behind this transition. The speaker is literally just going down the list of things that piss people off, because he knows it will keep them watching and give his video more views.
This speaker is just taking advantage of your own personal biases, which are that you all already hold some disdain for pop culture. Otherwise, the speaker in this video is not doing anything except broadcasting some negative, high-level talking points with a pseudo-intellectual tone. There is no logical argument in this video, he just cherry-picks some examples to push negativity.
Videos like this piss me off a lot because it shifts the audience's mentality to a negative one and imparts the audience with a feeling of despair. ****ing garbage. Honestly, it's very easy to just not pay attention to MTV and other sources of "garbage" pop culture. Because there is a lot of good culture out there. You just have to be self-selecting about what content you consume. There are enough people in the world doing great things who are unaffected by the stuff this video talks about; be one of those people.

Kelba said:What I'm saying is some people choose to spend their time bettering themselves, while others spend time being negative and obsessing over how bad pop culture (or the world in general) is. Pop culture is marketed for the lowest common denominator, and it always has been, there's no point to focus on it.
