The Syrian Request...

Hey guys. I'm not sure if someone found out in the last post who issued that statement to the Syrian government (yes I know the thread is locked). But it was not the ADO.

The letter was issued by Souleman Yousif and the former ADO members who have since left as a result of a protest/boycott of Bashir Saadi.

Just wanted to clarify this.

Cheers!

Shlama Anki,

Do you know if they sent this letter using independent names or as a newly formed political party?

I would have to assume it would be under a different name as they do not want to be identified with Bashir Saadi in any way.  What that name is, I'm not sure, but I think they are also making strong efforts at informing people that they WERE members of ADO and share the founding values of the ADO and not what it has become today.

Just a note. All the members of this new "party" (if you want to call it that) agreed that once Bashir and his puppets steps down or are forcefully replaced, they will all return to the ADO and continue their work for them.

Hey, Anki, thanks for the update. I was gone when that original thread by Blockness was locked, and I haven't had a chance to review it yet, but I hope to unlock it soon and then merge this there as well. Thank you again for the clarification love.

If you do, please don't delete any posts. I think it was an interesting discussion :)

That's what I'm hoping to do, just edit where necessary and not delete. But, we shall see...

Why edit at all? Keeping the posts untouched is much better for archival purpose. Better yet, don't unlock that thread. Just keep this one focused on the topic.
