The miraculous Barcelona comeback against PSG in the CL! WOW

I know I am late a few days but what a come back that was earlier in the week by Barcelona in the 2nd leg of their 16th round encounter against Paris Saint Germain.

Having lost the away game 5-0 in Paris, they needed to win by 6 goals or more to qualify. Almost impossible. But I did tell my friends prior to the game: "listen, the game may as well be cancelled but if there is any team capable of making it close, it is this Barcelona team, since they have the best attacking trio in the history of football in Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

And what does Barca do? They win 6-1, with 3 goals coming in the last minute and extra 4 minute of injury time. Neymar a hand in the last 4 goals, scoring 2, assisting on another.
and getting the penalty that led to one of the goals. A performance for the ages and an epic collapse by PSG.

Is this the greatest come back in soccer? I do know that it easily beats Liverpool's comeback against AC Milan in the 2005 CL final.

Really nice game , but you gotta admit the referee was bias especially on the second penalty . I would have preferred if they were out of CL to focus on la liga .Today they lost to Deportivo due to fatigue and neymar being injured , So now I doubt they will make it in either competition this year . It is only going to be Copa del rey this year

Bunch of divers, the referee gave them favorable calls.
Agreed , but then who does not dive ? perhaps messi is the only player i know who does not dive . PSG should have gone through , because Barca is too weak this year anyway , but the way PSG played in the second leg was pathetic .

Kinda off-topic, but Assyrians get really personal when it comes to their favourite soccer club teams (Barcelona, Real Madrid). I know some who quarrel and get estranged when it comes to that.

I understand getting serious when it comes to countries, but soccer clubs too that have nothing to do with your home country? Lol?

I don't really support any one team, but I do follow soccer as a whole as it is a beautiful game.

This was such an amazing come back, I almost thought it was staged.

Yeah, soccer is definitely the most watchable sport (and I'm not a fan of sports). It's rather thrilling. I prefer to watch country vs country though.

It is a guy thing i guess , and very good excuse to get together for a beer :). I think most of the fanatic supporters do not have much conflict or problems in their lives , so they create one and get depressed or happy about a bunch millionaires players winning or losing :) .

You're right about the last part. Lol.

I am biased but I think Deportivo La Coruna's come back against AC Milan a few years ago was the greatest.  Down 4-1, they came back to win 4-0.  Why is this better than Barca's come back?  Can anyone name Deportivo's players who played in those 2 games?  EXACTLY!  They are not the billionaires like Barca and Milan but they smashed them when it counted.  They also beat Barca this weekend  hahahahah.

I guess I have given away that I am a Deportivo La Coruna fan and have always been since Bebeto played in the 90s.

The reason for footballs popularity is that it stimulate the brain and the faster they play and score the more "high" you get from it . It works the same ways as drugs . Deportivo is like bad bad marijuana while Barca and RM are like cocaine and Ecstasy :) .
