By now, unless you don’t know what a WC is, you must have have seen Richarilson’s wonder goal against Serbia. Would it be an exaggeration to say it has been viewed over one billion times in last 24 hrs? I personally have seen it at least 25 times and can’t get over it.

Never mind this already being the goal of the tournament unless something a lot more extraordinary is scored, this should be fast-tracked to join the list of top 10 World Cup goals of all time!

What makes this goal special is not just the way it is scored, but also the assist by Vinicius. That alone was a thing of beauty, the way he curls it with his non-dominant foot.

I thought this one goal would go a long way in making Richarilson a bigger name than he already was. It is too bad he didn’t score last game and assuming he doesn’t play against Cameroon, he won’t get a chance to build on his overnight success. Of course, his story will be even more sensational if he he scores when it matters and helps Brazil win the title.
