Thanksgiving Sale in USA (Black Friday)

Ahh America (Yemat Donye) Mother of the World. I heard today (Friday) is a big sale day in the states. Laptops as cheap as $100, Desktops for $200. Digital Cameras to Camcorders for as little as $200.

If anyone of my dear American friends finds a $100 laptop, I am intrested. I will pay an extra $100.
 
wow! American never ceases to amaze me when it comes to low prices. I sometimes laugh at Europe and how expensive everything there is. But compared to the US, we have like a price inflation problem here lol.

Can you imagine how cheap a place like Wal-Mart in Buffalo on this day would be?

Too bad, for us Canadians, they are making it so hard at the boarder, sometimes even taking your car away if you lie about how much you bought from the States.

And I won't even go into details about those who tried to buy a car from the US. Ridiculous what they have been subjected to shareh. I don't blame them for making the trip: same new car, you save close to $10,000 if you buy it down there, compared to here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having said that, I am a strong supporter of keeping our money locally, so I try to always buy from here.

Ashoor, agree with you azziza, but laptops for $100-$200 is out of this world. The thing in the states is retailers have competition so they have to drop prices. Here is Canada we have a monopoly and no end in sight.

I have a friend in Chicago who uses cell phones for local and long distance calls. Imagine how expensive that would be here.

I love America and will shop from there if it is this cheap. I heard alot of people do thier christmas shopping today.
 
Oh no I totally agree. And the amazing thing is, it is not like prices are cheap and their salaries are low too. NO. prices are cheap, and salaries are high. Now that is what I call good life lol.

Man really this should be so easy. You pay a friend to buy it for you. When he comes here to visit, he brings it with him as if it is his, and gives it to you.

I think for $500, I could probably buy all that I need today in the US.

I hate the salary here.
$7.50 an hour!

It took me 2 years to get used to that pay.  :bangin:

Val. not sure what you do, but that wage is an exception, even here in Canada :)

Most of the people I know in the States, especially my cousins in Cali and Chicgao, make pretty good money in what they do.

I wonder if the iPhone is reduced today too? lol

Thats not my hourly pay. Thats the Minimum hourly pay here!

I get paid $25/30 ph for my job!
 
I freakin just paid $1000.00 for my laptop  and $565.00 for my digital camera :( this is the only reason why i love going to america,

i go to buffalo and they always give us a hard time crossing the boarder, i usally spend 100-200bucks and i always tell them the truth :)
 
I hate Black Friday! Black Friday is the day I refuse to go shopping. I'd rather pay an extra $20 or whatever to avoid the herds. I've worked on Black Fridays and those are death days...so, I like to stay home and do absolutely nothing. :mrgreen:

Haha! My poor cousin had to work Black Friday and she returned home looking like she was just run over by a bus :ROFLMAO: I've gone out on those days, and have found some decent deals, but boy it wears you out -- those shoppers are crazy!
