Our nation has beautiful villages and towns where our people have lived and hail from. Be it in Iraq, Syria, Turkey or Iran, each one of us comes from a different place and village, that we are proud of and at the end add to this mosaic we call ‘Assyria’

Personally, am from the village (or more of a hamlet) of Tashish in the region of Barwar in Northern Iraq. My family lived there for close to a century. Prior to that, we traced our origin to the region of Tkhuma in southeast Turkey.
