Hello Guys,
I am writing this Topic on behalf of the "Association Assyrophile de France". They have set up two dictionaries one known as the "Sureth Dictionary" which can be found here http://www.premiumwanadoo.com/cuneiform.languages/syriac/index.php and the other is the "Akkadian Dictionary" which is also a part of the website and can be found here http://www.premiumwanadoo.com/cuneiform.languages/dictionary/index_en.php.
The thing is that the AAF is looking for volunteers that would support the "Academy for the Sureth Language". Its a Project that would help enrich the assyrian language by modernizing it in the sense of founding new words for yet unkown words in syriac.
Examples would be words like Email, Internet etc.
Besides that, the AAF is always looking for volunteers that would help out in the already found Sureth Dictionary. They are in the process of recording the words there so that no native speaker could click on the "sound file" below the written syriac word.
Feel free to comment and if you are interested let me know via pm. I will then forward you guys to the Project leader.
