i dont know but i was watching the news i guess there was an incident last week with two life guards at the beach got beat im guessin it may have been the acts of some middle eastern ppl cause thats wat they say sparked this madness
its soo sad to see this happen around the world
for those who say no wonder y we dont see this in canada we have to be thankful and thank god for the canadas "Multiculturalism Act " in canada thats y u wont see this happen in canada we have laws that is totally against all discriminations against other nationalities if anyone is interested look at it its a great model to uphold in the rest of the nations too bad they dont :banned:

True blue Aussies (kids parents grandparents great grand parents are all aussie) are dirt and they proved it on the weekend. If you actually know what happened in the first incident last week it was the lifesavers and their mates at the beach that were racially taunting the lebanese guys. obviously the lebs reacted (as lebs do) and a fight broke out and it turned racial. there were more attacks that night and the police and locals called it racial tension. lebs said they wanna clean the place up and the aussies said they wont let lebs/wogs take over cronulla and maroubra. the only thing reported in the media was that lebs were trying to take over the area and were bashing aussies, somehow and coincidentally they forgot to mention how it all started.
The aussies on the streets yesterday proved how stupid they are. they walked around proud of their country singing their national anthem with banners and flags yet they themselves destroyed their city and rioted in the streets jumping on cars and throwing bottles at police, the same authority who is supposed to be protecting their country. so how are they any better than the leb 'thugs', chasing a middle eastern looking male into a pub, reported 100 men chased the guy until he ran into a pub. on the news they showed cops beating these idiot aussies with batons and capsicum spray, they looked like sheep being herded into a paddock, bloody disgrace.
the lebs already retaliated and trust me they will win in the end, the aussies can run on the streets all they like, thats just shit!

Kristen, it COULD happen in Melbourne but it WONT. the youth there are simply on a different level down there. its a totally different mindset. youth in melb enjoy their life and dont go around doing stuff like this, or at least on this level. melb's crime is usually restricted to underground drug activities and very rarely ever comes to the surface. lebs in melb as im sure those of us who have spent alot of time im melb would know, are totally different to the lebs in sydney. even the italians down there arent as gay as the sydney ones. melb is synonomous with its culture and atomosphere whereas sydney is stuck in this vicious cycle of collar up polo tops mullet haircuts driving around in hotted up cars financed with drug money chasing sluts and the girls are just as bad.everyones on roids here. we all know that. sydney has and will always be shit and dont tell me to stop nagging about it, its right infront of us and yes everywhere has its own problems but this is a comparison of sydney and melb in regards to gang activity. melb has its asians and sydney has its lebs/turks. if this racial stuff was a big problem down there in melb it woulda already boiled over a long time ago. but the fact of the matter is that lebs/turks/assyrians in melb stick to their own areas not like here where lebs go to parra, livo, bankstown, punchbowl, granville, maroubra, brighton, bondi, cronulla where havent they been?! theyre frikn everywhere like a bad rash. where are the lebs in melb? brunswick maybe? coburg? roxy? i dont think so. even broady isnt as bad as our fairfield, bankstown or wherever. by the way im speaking from experience what ive seen with my own eyes.

What has happened in Cronulla is a disgrace, there is no doubt. There is no 'right' side or race or group of people, anyone who was involved in inciting violence in any way there was wrong. Australians and Lebanese alike, 'whites' and middle-eastern alike. Both were wrong, none were right. Now what has really dissapointed me is when I come here and read comments such as...
It is attitudes like this that cause the problems that are happening in Cronulla, an attitude of 'our way is superior', an attitude of intolerance for the ways of others. Now I am not saying that one should tolerate inappropriate behaviour, there is no excuse for behaving badly, cultural background or no. But when people think less of others, an entire race or culture even, for the actions of a few, that is most dissapointing. I guess I am really quite upset at what has happened, that it has tarnished the view of my country, my people in the eyes of others. We're all Australians and love this country equally, and if we are to move forward, we need to accept each other's differences and stop putting each other down and vilifying other ethnicities.
I reckon introducing subjects that concentrate on Australia and develops a sense of patriotism among kids as they're growing up, is something that needs to be done.
If everyone really loved this country, none of this would've happened, not what the Lebs did last week nor what the Anglos did on Sunday.
