Suggestion

Its a suggestion that will fall on deaf ears.. You are better off sending it to a Moderator than posting it here... there is no place for it here.... :welcome3: :welcome3:

Awwee...thanks guys.  I'd be honored, but it's okay if I didn't.  The Lord has a plan...no matter what.

No offence to Claridy but I dont think she would be a good moderator as she is too passionate about what she believes in and therefore cannot be impartial in my opinion.

and no offence to you, but are you forgetting that this is a Christianity forum?

therefore a mod needs to be passionate about their faith and active all the time, otherwise whats the point of having one?....

So you gotta be unfair to be passionate about religion?  :)

why unfair Jona?  although the request itself doesnt worry us anymore, I did ask for a mdoderator status last year to tidy up the place such as Stickying topics and other Admin tasks....

The Forum itself does not need mutual admin to take control when there is a heated debate as this place is mainly for teaching purposes and rarely it gets into arguments nor do we want it too...

if your seeking an admin for the General religion forum, that is a different story all together...

I move in favour of it. The Christianity section here is nothing but Claridy talking to herself for the most part anyway. No harm done.

If you are talking about the ?Religion and Spirituality? section that we click on to get here than No I don?t think she should be the moderator.

If you are talking about the ?Christianity and Faith? section here than yes I do think she should be because she is passionate and does most the posting.

I don?t think she could be a mod only for the Christianity section since it?s within the Religion and Spirituality. So she would have to be a mod for the whole section.

Ah, Mjay, come on now.  You talk to me.  Oh, but that's right, you came from nothing and will be dying into nothing, so that means you are nobody?  Good one!

Mjay won't be scared until he finally meets His Maker.  You can hit Mjay with the truth, and he'll continue on choosing self.

Exactly! Claridy for moderator!!!  If it offends people that she stands firm with the Word of God and refuses to compromise The Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ, so what? All Christians are called to do the same.

God bless this great woman of God and continue to use her for the advancement of His kingdom and the winning of souls for Christ Jesus!!!!

Sad but true.

And I am still praying for you Max, that you will not harden your heart, but see that Jesus is THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Light, and accept Him as Lord and Saviour of your life. Jesus is love, and He ALWAYS hears the prayers of His children...be afraid...be very afraid.  :)

You are saying God is love and than in the same sentence you are making threats to be afraid. Those tactics won?t work.  You are scaring me away and I?m a Christian.

No, that means I'm alive and I like it.

Your truth is death. Thats why I avoid it until it comes upon me naturally.

Refer to my reply to Jonadona.

Your life is death. And it won't come upon you "naturally".  Your heart won't allow it.  Anybody who wishes they came from nothing, is dead.  You contradict yourself in every possible way.  But I'll leave that to God.  He only knows.

Romans 6:16 Don?t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

In order to live you must die first.  Love the argument Paul uses:

(1 Corinthians 15)35But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?" 36How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. 39All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. 40There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

42So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. 48As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. 49And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

50I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

In order to truly live, you must die first.  This requires Wisdom from God, something you don't have.

This makes perfect sense. I presume my light is dark? My straight is bent? My square is circle?

Is it my turn to laugh? :)

Death worship. No thanks.

Again, it won't make sense to you. Call it what you want.  You're only kidding yourself.  Jokes on you, mate!

Hello :) Ok first my original post didn’t have a smile and when you quoted me it shows a smile at the end of my post, weird. Anyways I didn’t think the smile on your post was meant to be taken that you were joking. I just thought you were smiling because you were happy about your reply. Like you know when people tell you that you are going to hell but with a smile? I guess i was wrong, my mistake I apologize for my error.

Like you know when people tell you that you are going to hell but with a smile?

People should be crying for you when they say that, not smiling.  And lifting you up, and encouraging you, and praying for you.  Whoever smiles when they say that are most likely going in that direction in the first place.

P.S.  I know you are kidding, but I had to comment, incase you are serious.

Claridy, I can't completely condemn those folks, because we don't know WHY they are smiling.  If it is to mock the person, then I would agree.  If it is because God is glorified even in sending people to hell, then I would have to disagree.  I take great joy in God's glory even at the expense of the reprobate.
