Hey guys,

As some of you are aware, I'm a member of two Assyrian Churches. The ACOE and the Syriac Orthodox Church.

The Syriac Orthodox Church is having a convention in 2010 here in Toronto and because of this, the Convention organization comittee is organizing a special "gathering". We are encouraging all of our youth from both Churches to come out and attend and to make new friends.

It will be done at BMO Field during a Toronto FC match in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship match against Vancouver.

Deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday March 29, 2009.


For anyone in the GTA that is interested please give me a call or email me. It is a strict deadline of March 29. We are getting group rates to help save you money. And since every TFC game for the past 2 seasons have been sold out (yes, this season is sold out too), they need to know our exact numbers in order to give those tickets up to others.

So once again, come on out and have a blast. It will be a great way to meet new friends and to share in the fun and excitement of a TFC game! Look forward to seeing all of you there!

Its not a Church thing...lol I just said ACOE since I'm a member of both. But yeah anyone and everyone can go. Its to support the Convention Committee and to build friendships as well.

Just be sure to remind them that it will get loud and your voices may not be the same lol.
 
OK guys so this is the last week tickets will be available. I need to get the money by Friday if you're coming. Please let me know. We have a few tickets available and we want to get those sold as well.

For those that have already expressed interest in coming, I'll PM you and we can get talking about the specifics on payments and number of tickets.

By the way in case anyone is wondering, TFC won 3-2 last night in a strong, STRONG showing against Kansas City. It was a well played match.
 
This is such a good thing! I recently found out that there is a Syriac Church in London. I met a girl at university when I held the Democracy in Iraq lecture told me about their church. God willing we will be able to do the same thing in London!
