Is it just me or is this song popping up everywhere? I keep hearing Assyrians sing this song lately and yet it was recorded almost 25 years ago.
Why does everyone sing this song? I know it's because it's a William Daniel song, but seriously...it's kind of irritating. It's not the song...I love this song, but I've never encountered voices that suited well with this song besides the original singers. And all the other people that I've heard sing it already sound like haywaneh so they end up bikhraya jawo.

Why do people do that when they just suck in general or at that specific style of music? It's irritating, especially when people blindly encourage those that destroy the value and the beauty of the song by completely butchering it.
It's not just Assyrians that do this, white people do this, too. But it's still irritating because haqootit zmarta lena yawo. So gay! If they brought it any justice, I wouldn't feel so strongly about it, but I have yet to see that happen, especially with this song.
