Hey Guys, anyone of you heard about the book written by the late Hormis Aboona? ITs callled "assyrians, kurds and ottomans: intercommunal relations".
You can read some 50 pages free with the google book modus. I just found a nice part in that pages that can be read freely.

btw. in the book it also states that several kurdish tribes helped the mongols under the lead of timur lame to slaughter assyrians and inhabit some of their areas.(know nothing new to us).
Its really a read worthy...even if its just some 50 pages free....gotta buy it when i aint a student anymore
