There is no "F" in assyrian. I hate how some assyrians say "moFtaweh" for Moptaweh it kills me  :ranting:

I say shoopteeya too...in Suryoyo it's probably shoofteeyo (that is, if the word is actually Assyrian and not borrowed from another language. It sounds a little too close to the Kurdish word shootee for my liking.)

...I think it's supposed to be paTeekha.

EDIT: oh, and someone said there is no "f" in Assyrian. This is only true for Modern Eastern Assyrian. The same thing happened to our letter "v" (turned into a "w"-like sound, like in kthawa). The old language and Suryoyo have "f."
