I often set goals and objectives (slightly different from resolutions) for each new year. This year, I have about 3-4 of them, and as of Jan 3 (yesterday) I already got one of them done already and it feels so good!
This project/goal was to pain our basement in its entirety, as it hasn’t been painted since it was built back in 2005. I took time off from work to work on this project: I started Jan 2 and by end of Jan 3 and after some 20 hrs, I finished it! Not just painting, but had to do other cleanups, some wall fixing, organizations etc.
And I did it entirely myself, didn’t want to bother or tire any family member.
Although I rarely paint , I thought this turned out decent actually.
Next, use the momentum and boost from finishing this project to tackle my next one. While not technically possible due to timelines etc, wouldn’t be amazing to finish all my goals for this year by this month? lol
