Round of 16: Slovakia vs. Holland

FT:  Holland 2 - 1 Slovakia.

Holland to meet the winner of today's late game between Brazil and Chile.

Holland looked average, they let Slovakia put the pressure on them, and when you have to do that against Slovakia then you aren't very good.

On the plus side, Kuyt looked very good. :D

BTW that was definitely not a penalty for Slovakia, should of finished 2-0.
 
Does anyone think Robben is underrated?

Holland look a different side with him on and is no doubt their best player. He was Real Madrids best player yet they still sold him for a 'galactico'.

Maybe if he was Brazilian or Argentinian.
 
davidb, even though I haven't seen much of him, I think you are right. It is all about Robben in this world cup for Holland.

I think Holland can do well without him, but he has always been underrated. It was mostly due to his below average performance internationally at Euro 2008.

I still think Sneider is the backbone of this team.  He's one of the best play makers in this world cup so far.
