Not as much as diving and getting the ball back in play currently waste time.

It would take 30 seconds to call that a goal.  30 seconds.  Over their electronic headset.

Excellent point jonadana. That is exactly what the CBC analysts were saying today. By the time the Mexican players and the referee ended their argument, we had already seen some 4 replays of the same play.

It should take no more than 15 seconds to have it reviewed by someone upstairs, then he relays the result back to the referee.

And it is not like you have many unconfirmed goals. You will be lucky if you get to use it once every game. So 15-30 seconds will slow down the game? lol...

England was slower, very inept technically, no play makers...  Gerrard and Lampard pairing has never worked.  Terry was horrible.  The Germans made this a simple game and took it right to the English. Straight down the middle.  Something that shouldn't happen easily against team with that much talent.

By the way, Ghana would've beaten England even worse.  They lucked out with Germany.

Why do you think FIFA doesn't use that excuse anymore?! lol  Now, they're saying they don't want 'technology' in the game...  What the f@#k are the refs using to communicate with each other?! Cans and strings?!

I would prefer Europa Cup style, where they had a ref just outside the Penalty area over Video Referee....

I see Beckham becoming England's coach in the next 5-10 years (potentially for the 2018/2022 World Cup in England)

Das Spiel k?nne auch anders ausgehen, wenn der Treffer der Engl?nder gez?hlt h?tte. Beide Mannschaften w?ren n?mlich mit einem ganz anderen Kopf und einer anderen Strategie in die 2. Halbzeit gegangen.

The match could have an other end if the goal of the English would be counted. Both teams would go with an other head and strategie in the second part of the match.

I never saw so terrible referees in a World or Europe Cup like in this year.

He was never fit 100% for any of the games.  I blame it on Cappello.  he made the stupid mistake of playing him in a friendly back in March that re-aggravated an injury.  His form was never the same after that.  Ferguson was furious and didn't even rest Rooney for more than a week after picking up that injury.
