Republican Primaries

Of this batch of potential Presidents of the United States, who would you pick and why. Short blurb doesn't have to be an essay. I'm trying to figure out an Assyrian consensus for who they would select.

As I'm sure you all know by now, Dr. Ron Paul is my pick

Even though he will be the worst president for the Assyrians (eliminating all foreign aid is a key part of his platform) I feel he is the best choice for America as a whole. He will restore America and he will bring her back to where she was in the 40's-60's, a real super power!

Good topic, one I have been following closely.

But I must say, I am starting to lose interest. It is becoming like a musical chair. Every few weeks, there is a new favorite, only to do or say something stupid and then they are forgotten about. First it was Backman then Cain, Perry, then Gingrich, and now Santorum, and throughout it all, Romney's name keeps being mentioned.

My choice? at least what is good for resurrecting America, would have to be Gingrich. He knows Washington inside and out.

But if you want a moderate pick who can beat Obama, then we have to go with Romney (despite his Mormon faith)

As for Ron Paul, I lost all interest in him. His ideas are too radical and frankly, he would take the US on a danger path because he wouldn't confront anything or anyone. Too libertarian even for the US. Not to mention, he looks and is too old anyway.

I am libertarian (what this country is supposed to be, freedom and LIBERTY) and I pick Ron Paul for that very reason!

And I do not like Mormons after living in Utah for a while... and Romney is very shady to me.
