You got to love the Christian Egyptians, they are attcking moslems so much, I love it. They got guts. I was watching this Egyptian Christian show on Satelite yesterday and the subject was Ramadan.

They showed that Mohamed stole most of the ideas from people in the area. Ramadan was stolen from people in Ur and Harran (city in Turkey). Where the people fasted for the blessing from the moon god.

Now moslems are fasting one month which is exactly as the people of Harran used to do. Also they used to fast from Sun rise to sun down.
 
Christian Egyptians are very nice people and believe in Jesus and God more then anyone..

But dont Assyrian or Christian Fast for Easter the 50 days from sunrise till sun down just how Jesus did.. only eat once a day... thats how it should bee done
 
they usually refrain from eating animal products.  I myself refuse to.  I can't live without meat and I have not seen where in the bible it says we must fast from meat.  My vegetarian relatives tell me it is easy but when I tell them to stop drinking tea, they lose the plot.
 
Fasting in Christianity is not compulsory as Muslims have it. No mention of compulsory fasting is mentioned in the Bible or Quran.  I mean Assyrians are probably the first to fast (Baota Ninwaya). They fasted for three days for forgivness.

Coptic preachers and religous shows are showing the mistakes with the quran and the muslim faith. Where they have basically stole ideas and made them into thier own, i.e. fasting which is started by Assyrians and watching the moon and beilving in the new moon, also Assyrian and Harran.

Pagan festivals/beliefs became Christian festivals/beliefs and then the Muslims didn't want to be left out, so they copied a few of these beliefs, the whole thing is the work of a higher being if you ask me.
