Question for chaldeans.

What do guys know youslef as?

I know you will tell your grandma and grandpa you are Chaldean, but do you believe you are Chaldean because of your Chaldean Catholic church but you know you are Assyrian, or Chaldean because you know yourself from the ancient Chaldean tribe and not Assyrian. Please vote.

I just want to know what percent of our people are united.

Like seriosuly, this should be over an done with. People are fighting each other for the thoughts of us being evolved from animals-apes and having God's image.

Chaldean-Assyrian-Armenian-Jewish, who cares. (Deep down we all care, but we shouldn't)
 

I don't call myself Chaldean but my dad is from Chaldean church, so I have the right to vote.

We are Chaldean because we are descendants from the Ancient Chaldeans ( Aka Akadians ) who then created the Babylonian Empire which later fell to the Assyrian empire and the Chaldeans were taken captive and given second class Citizenship by the Assyrians, hence why the Blood is Mixed and why Modern Chaldeans are in Fact Assyrians, but Assyrians themselves have plenty of Ancient Chaldean blood in them  :angelnot: :angelnot:

Actually, you can't have Chaldean blood, Babylonian yes, Chaldean no.

The ancient Chaldeans were not the Akkadians, Assyrians descended from Akkadians and so did the Babylonians, but the Chaldeans were a Dynasty in Babylonian history.

That's not the point, its like you having a sister and she gets married changes her last name and starts to deny she was ever your sister and denies she ever had the same last name as you.

I get what your saying but if that person is hard headed and has made up his/her mind then why can't we just leave it at that. I believe Assyrians were the first and Chaldeans true roots are Assyrians but if a Chaldean guy/girl doesn't want to believe that then so let it be.

your kidding me right? so can you tell me then what happened to that dynasty? where did they go? did they just vanish without any trace?

LOL by your logic then we are, Assyrian,Babylonian,Aramean,Chaldean,Sumerian,Akkadian and so on.

thats not what i am saying... I am saying that Assyrians have no right to tell Chaldeans or Siryoyo's that they must only call themseleves Assyrians, Simply becuase these groups can Claim a blood line related to all those ancient groups...


The Truth is, They are all One people and One Blood. If a certain group wants to call themselevs Babyonians or Akadians, You can not Historically take that claim away from them....

Apparently scientist found out that man first came from Africa, im gonna start calling my self African from now and no one can tell me that i  can't ill also use the N word freely in public and if anybody gets offended ill just tell em to chill, im from a African bloodline,no one can take that away from me.

the issue is not so much with Assyrians being firm and proud of their identity but its those small portions of Assyrians who demand that everyone must be called Assyrians, probably even the Africans!!!

its just not on... Let people call themseleves whatever they want!

Yeah, let them call themselves Kurds or Arabs.

Let them get kicked out of their own land.

Let them lose their identity.

Thats what we should do.

The more we split the less our population becomes, and the easier it becomes for the Muslims to erase our identity.
