Endurance
Pushing and shoving for most of my life,
Running out of places to hide the pain, the heartache,
Now it flows, slowly, out of my mouth like an unnoticed poison,
Will you notice it?
Crying on the inside,
The noise will never penetrate stone,
My heart diminishes,
Losing hope, becoming empty and hollow
Life, like sunshine, is bright and made for happiness and joy,
As light is hidden and clouded,
With darkness comes pain,
Do you feel it?
My weakening makes an appearance,
Few tears start to drop, while more yearn to pour,
The thoughts begin crawling through my mind,
The feeling of insanity is at my door
How much more can be done?
How much, before blood starts to shed?
With the feeling of loneliness intensifying,
Only dreams are left floating in my head
Hoping time will claim my sanity,
I cannot escape,
This is my reality
No giving up,
Determined I will stand,
My faith I put in God?s hands
