Ok, everyone, chit-chat is getting too serious, let's lighten things up.  How 'bout them Oscars!  Didn't expect hometown boy Jeremy Renner to win, but so glad he's getting the recognition he deserves (I work with his dad!)  Glad Avatar lost.  Not that I've seen the picture, but I don't like it anyway.  Aliens.....BORING.  OK, now onto the good stuff!

Penelope Cruz -- girl always looks fabulous.  Not crazy about the hair, but loved the dress

Sandra Bullock -- she looked pretty close to perfect to me

Anna Kendrick -- not sure about this one.  I don't hate it, but thought it was a bit old for her

Charlize Theron -- uuummmm.....NO.  She usually makes great fashion choices, but this wasn't one of them

J. Lo -- Yikes!  Too snug, too much weird fabric (what the hell is that, anyway?)  Just not a good look at all

Helen Mirren -- she is the poster woman for Best Dressed in her age group.  She always looks gorgeous and age-appropriate

Sarah Jessica Parker -- it's one of those dresses you either love or hate.  While I don't think it's very flattering, I think she looks good anyway

Diane Kruger -- I like this!  You have to be incredibly tall and thin to pull it off, but I think she does

Baklawa: We sat at hookah yesterday watching the oscars while waiting for other avners to arrive and when Sandra came on we all agreed how gorgeous she looked.

when she was up for the nomination and won ALL of us(me, alvina,shami,3 other family members of ours) screamed and clapped really loud and by loud i mean the entire place stopped to see wt f happened.


 
i think Miley Cyrus & Amanda Seyfried should've switched dresses. when i saw them both come out to talk, Miley looked way to old with that dress on and Amanda looks like a little girl.

I loved Penelope's dress, but i think her hair could've been done better, it looked frizzy. Sandra Bullocks hair i didnt like pin straight like that..i like when she has curls in it.

I must admit, the hosts were awesome!! they had my laughing the whole time.

I thought Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock were the highlights of the Oscars in terms of fashion.

And Demi Moore look great for a 50 yr old woman, but what fu.. is up with that colour & all them crazy ruffles.

JLO's dress is not only ugly but looks horrible on her body.
