One in 1,000 Americans have died from COVID-19

That's disturbingly high. But sometimes I think these numbers are highly exaggerated. People just die from "normal" diseases and the doctors slap "COVID" as the cause of death. I mean, I don't know...
 
Ashoor, have you had COVID? Or anyone here?

I just had it in late July this year. Lol. It actually wasn't too bad -- I've had worse flues.

I actually did! I managed to stay clear in all of 2020 and 2021 but on the very first day of 2022, I caught it and while it was bad first few hours, I managed Ok the next 2 days.

I caught it before I was vaccinated.

I never got vaxxed and I caught it too last month after never getting it before. I thought I'd never get it, but my sister had to come to our house and give it to me. Lmao.

I was bad in the first four days. Chills, body aches, severe headaches (first day), no appetite and very mild fever (first day only). I had a slight cough too. On the 7th day I felt a bit better, but something was "off" - Still a bit tired and dizzy here and there. I got 100% on around day 10-12. This got me thinking that if I were vaccinated I'd probably have had milder symptoms?

Glad you are finally ok, and yes your symptoms sound similar to mine. And while vaccinated people are getting it just as much, they are not getting as sick.
