On this day 39 Years ago...

at approximately 6:40 in the evening in San Jose, CA, the last true leader of the Assyrian nation, martyr Mar Eshai Shimun, was assassinated by the coward David Ismail.

The cause of death was gunshot wounds in the chest and abdomen. There were three gunshot wounds of entrance present on the front surface of the body.  I could go on and on, but I just get more angry.

May he Rest In Peace, and hopefully, one day, the church he served so selflessly for so many years, will remember and honor him properly, as they have failed to do for the last 39 years.  T

May the coward David Ismail and his brother Zaia, burn in hell.

Indeed a great loss! Thanks for posting this barshie.

BTW, I am sure you know this, and even though I have never seen him, the killer lives here in Canada (London, ON) . Apparently, he is even an active member of the Assyrian church there! Ha...

Yes, I do know.  He moved to Canada immediately after his release from prison after serving only 13 years.  I had heard he opened up a business of some sort.  I wonder where he got the money to open a business after 13 years in prison.

Yes, he is an active member of the very church whose Patriarch he murdered, with the help and knowledge of the churches Bishops and Priests.  He was never excommunicated, like others who have been for differences of opinion.  Sad, isn't it?
