We may have a new Sargon Gabriel! Not just in voice but probably in looks too!

Meet Alek Jan, the new, just 20 year old singer from Baghdad, Iraq! He has got a great voice (like Sargon Gabriel) and a great touch on the Tamboora (like Albert Rowel) which is why I call him a hybrid of the two Assyrian legends.

I recorded these two videos from his interview today on Ashur TV. Love it! Great voice.

Who can believe he was born as early as 1990!!!!

my cousins love him.

Alec has gotten so much good feedback both here and on Youtube. Unfortunately I don't have any updates on him, and wish someone could update us on him and where he is now? is he still in Baghdad?
