Never mind the Assyrians in Iraq, what about the Copts in Egypt?

Today in Alexandria, Egypt, a bearded Salafi muslim came behind a Christian shop owner and beheaded him in public daylight.

Two week ago, a suicide bomber walked into a Copfic church in Cairo and killed over 30 people.


These are just some of the horrific atrocities that are being committed against the Coptic Christians in Egypt.

The question is: what can be done to protect them against these sub-animals?

Compared to Assyrians in Iraq, the Copts number some 10x more. But unlike Assyrians in Iraq, they don't have a region the equivalent of the Nineveh Plain where they can concentrate and form their own semi-autonomy or even a province.

In Iraq, ateast the Shi'ttes are somewhat friendly towards our people. But in
Egypt, Sunnies are the only sect and extreme Salafism has been on the rise.

And amidst all of tfis, the state has also been complacent in protecting them.

So, what can be done?

Copts aren't an ethnic group. They're part of Egyptian society completely. Why would they need their own province?

They are about 10 to 15 milions. I doubt we have enough space in Nineveh plain for all of them. :grin:

those 2-3k refugees can possibly add about 100-500 more possible soldiers/policemen to contribute to security...
 
Egypt has a pernicious, antisemitic, Islamist government for starters.

Also, most Egyptians are Muslims. And they're fervent Muslims, not even that moderate.
