modesto? san jose? turlock??? what 2 do?!

Which is a better place to live in?  San Jose, Modesto, or Turlock?  My family wants to move to either San Jose or Modesto, and they're leaning towards Modesto...so what i want to know is ur guys' opinion:  which do u think is better?  does it even make a difference b/c they're all so close to each other?  anyways, feedback is much appreciated, cuz this cud effect our decision... :mrgreen:
 
Modesto's economy and iinfrastructure is dead.  Modesto is a place where Assyrians thrive, b/c gossip thrives here due to political and religious issues.

San Jose/Santa Clara, etc...still has a good economy despite what is going on in California and the rest of the USA.  The weather is better, the air is cleaner, and there is a better attitude amongst the population in general. 

Hopefully I'll be making a transition soon.
 
OMG don't move to Modesto!!!!!!!! LAst summer my family moved from Arizona ( which I thought was hell) to Modesto because my mom wanted to and it was just horrible!! We moved back to Arizona and I'll be moving to San Jose in the coming Months.. Its such a small city there's nothing to do, no jobs, just BLA!!!!! So of course San Jose is better it is more expensive to buy a house there but so worth it!!!

Modesto made Arizona looks like paradise hahaha

San Jose is by far a better place.  Every thing you need (attractions, clubs, bars) are all within a 20-50 min drive, not to mention the beach is only 25 mins away.  You'll be much happier and stress free in the Bay Area.  Hope to see you soon!  Hit us up when you arrive. 
 
U guys have all been very helpful and I really do appreciate all this feedback.....so where exactly in San Jose do most Assyrians reside?  My family really wants to be surrounded by Assyrians b/c  we've just been so isolated and disconnected not just from the Assyrian community but any middle eastern community in general.  so, yeah, like I was saying.....Where specifically in san jose?  THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE MUCH NEEDED HELP!!!!! :yourock:
 
I believe that most Assyrians live in South San Jose... Or Almaden Valley ( Its all the same area)  Where highway 85 and 75 intersect, Its a beautiful and safe area to live in, quite a few Assyrian and Middle Eastern stores and you run into Assyrians at Costco everytime you go haha... Its like the perfect ratio of Assyrian to normal people... You hopefully won't have Assyrian neighbors looking at whose at your house on Friday nights but they'll be close by :)

I'm sure RadRides can give you more info since he lives right smack dab in the middle of South san jose :)
