Michael Youash, Project Director of ISDP (Iraqi Sustainable Democracy Project), will be in Chicago to speak about current issues and projects.

One of the topics will be the case in the Nineveh Plain, an area in the north and east of Nineveh Governorate that is a geographic testament to the Assyrians' indigenous status in Iraq and an area where they still predominate, along with other vulnerable minorities.

Host: Assyrian Academic Society

When: Sunday, June 8 at 6:00pm

Where: ChaldoAssyrian Center

Supporters, non-supporters, neutrals, disinterested, interested, curious, bored, or other - go to the lecture and bombard him with your questions about anything you can think of regarding Assyrians and their future in Iraq.

Don't make it easy on him - ISDP exists so our nation has a solid place in Iraq.  Ask him what ISDP is doing to secure it.

I know many people have heard of ISDP, but believe me, you haven't heard most of what ISDP has accomplished here.  I strongly, strongly, encourage you to go.

I wish i can go, but I live too far. It does not get more important than ISDP, the work that they do is ensuring Assyrians can protect themselves, have fair representation for our nation, advocate for the establishment of schools in our mother tongue, advocate to send funds to our needy and buld up the economy to help stop our nation from leaving. ISDP is our treasure, it is sad that ISDP cannot afford to get many more workers, Michael Youash with the help of 2-3 assistants will be able to handle the massive work load on his shoulders. When we invite him to Canada, we will have at least 300 people show up and raise him thousands, I hope the mecca of Assyrians (Chicago) will be able to do much more this sunday. God Bless Mr. Youash, a true hero in our modern nation.
