I am a few days late, but wow what an NBA finals this was! Lebron James delivered on his promise to bring a championship to his hometown of Ohio and delivered he did!

Coming into game 7, almost everything was stacked against Cleveland.

-No NBA team had ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA finals to win the series.
-Golden States Warriors were 1 win away from matching Chicago Bulls 1995-1996 total season+playoff record for wins. They had 3 chances to do this and they failed in all 3 games
-All season long, GSW had only lost a total of 9 times, and only 3 times at home. So to lose 3 in a row, 2 of which were home games, was hard to believe. But that is exactly what happened.
-In fact, the last time the GSW warrio had lost 3 games in a row, goes back to some 3 years ago or so...

So as you can see, despite all of these facts and stats, LeBron James did the impossible and helped his team win the championship. Not only that, but for the first time ever in an NBA finals, he led in every category (points, rebounds, assists, steals etc.) which is absolutely remarkable. And not surprisingly, he was chosen as the finals MVP (his 3rd overall)

This is his 3 NBA ring and the most valuable one for sure, since it is the first for Cleveland, this one he did it without the help of Wade and Bosh (though he did have help from Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thomson and others).

LeBron James is now 31 years old and funny enough, at this same age, Michael Jordan had also won 3 championships for Chicago Bulls. But Lebron has already played 12 seasons (can you imagine?) whereas Michael had only played 9 seasons by age 31. By the end of his career at 36 (not counting his 3rd comeback, with the Washington Wizards) , he had been to the finals 6 times and won 6 NBA championships and 5 NBA finals MVPs. Lebron has already been to the NBA finals 7 times (including the last 6 NBA finals in a row) but has only won 3. So he has 3 more to go to catch up to Michael Jordan.

But regardless of how many more rings he ends up winning before he is done, he is already in the conversation of 'top greatest NBA players of all time' and deservedly so...
