I am not sure if she is Assyrian or not, but from what I gather is that she is from Dahouk, and her uncles are sentenced to life in prison in Sweden for an honour killing.



 
OMG as if our people are not in enough pain and havent gone through so much in their lifes.
what has the world come to!

I hate honor killings.. just go and diown ur child than killing them.  :ban:

I found it hard to believe that this girl is Assyrian.

I googled it, Pela Atroshi is kurdish. Just google "Pela and sweden" and you'll find the same story over and over.

same thing happened to an assyrian girl in belgium, few years ago.

but let's say those ppl who killed this assyrian girl were raised with kurds...so no wonder why they acted this way.

Not all Assyrians/Chaldeans who were raised with Kurds are like them.  Trust me i know there are a lot, but not all of them.

I know a man back in Iraq who chopped off his wife's head in the toilet too, because he caught her cheating on him.  her family bailed him out because he safed family honor or something.
I don't remember exactly but I heard they forced their other daughter to marry him.  :crazy:

if you are not sure than why you have the subject name "Assyrian Honor killing" , you guys can't wait to hear bad things about Assyrian girls/boys so you can post it here, satmawa  :ban: .  I would like to read some good news not wrong and bad news.

these things are realli upsettin but they still do happen im from australia n the lebense girls here are still sown up here n if the father is in doubt about his daughter he sleeps wit her to check this does still happen n i noe of it...

this has happend to my friend

Please change title of thread to KURDISH honor killing.  This is the last thing we need to be google-able!!
 
I will wait for ACANA to change it, now that we are almost sure she is not Assyrian. If he is not online soon, I will do it.

Nothing is available for search within the first few days. It takes weeks before it is available online.  But it still bears a bad image, now that we know it is not an Assyrian.

Sorry Guys, my mistake. I felt that she was not Assyrian, but guessed from Dahouk and her name "Pela". Anyways, my bad.
