Janan Sawa is the best singer for parties with the right band... btw hes been married twice and besides, if u guys hate him that much, y do u go to his parties?????
 
poor janan go pomat manelee mpelaa lol, where is Atou when he needs her to take his side lol.  This girl has a very nice voice, thanks God she is his doughter here not his gf lol, btw all MEN like YOUNG girls so it's not just Janan. And about the first part looooooool mtlee min gekhkaa cause I never seen a girl telling her father bayan goran kha bronaa satmawwwwaaaaaaa lol

And leave janan alone, all old men are creepy, he just doesn't seem to mind that other people are aware of it. 
 
Can't believe you all forgot to mention how his hair is a different shade of "auburn" every time he sings lol  I like the guy, saw him at countless weddings and he is a great entertainer.  The video I don't hold up to anything anyway because the quality of it and the song etc don't really cater to my liking.  Either way, wedding singer he is, he's good.  "Celebrity"... hardly.

I haven't been online but is it the young girl that sings in his video?
If so I had no clue he had a young daughter I thought only one older one.
Regardless of his personal business he's a great singer and performs great for each event and doesn't pick favorites like other artist.

I am sure that he has only 2 doughters, and he only got married twice. but i am not sure if that is his daughter.

 
The fact is that Janan is a 1-dimensional singer who only has one style of singing music. It's all Jibber-Jabber coming from his mouth, half it being Kurdish slang and Chaldean slang. He is not an entertainer, he's just a karaoke singer. He doesn't know how to sing slow songs or romantic or pop songs.

I would have to say that Janan Sawa's song dedicated to Zowaa is one of the best songs about Zowaa I have ever heard ! The words, the beat, all too good! (Ironic though isn't it! lol)

Jonadona those were great...the first one especially..it kicked me in the gut with nostalgia only the way old Assyrian songs could.


I love his mawal in that video. I love Assyrian mawaleh in general. How do you say "mawal" in Assyrian, anyway? Anyone know?

For the millionth time, Janan is not a baznaya. He is a barwaya (a 'Chaldean' milet) just like Albert Mansour, OK! The reason I know this is because his brother is married to a relative of mine, not to mention my umtah has been married to a barwaya, who grew up with Janan & his brothers, for the past 29 years!

Chokhee is one of my favorites!  As far as his song for Zowaa, though it may be good, is a bunch of bullshit and he is a sell out as far as I'm concerned....and yes, I consider myself a fan of music.
