Some of you will enjoy this, especially those who are fans of the Azzuri.

My two surprises are Dunga and Platini being of Italian background! I thought Dunga was of Portuguese background while for Platini, never crossed my mind that his last name sounds more Italian than French.

I knew about Platini and i knew that Dunga is of german heritage but just found out he also had Italian heritage. Interesting that 9 world cup winning captains have Italian heritage (I believe that does not include Messi as the article was written before Qatar2022).
