Is the war on terror working? ABSOLUTELY!

My dad has been adamant recently that all the internal clashes we hear about in Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, and soon Syria and Iran, were part of Bush's plan from day 1 of this "War on Terror".

He keeps referring back to Bush's speech just after 9/11. He claims he had heard bush talk about the US turning the terrorists against one another. After looking far and wide, I finally found this speech. Here is the clip of where Bush makes this statement.

This speech was held September 20, 2001. It was presented at a joint session at Congress.

So is this war on terror working? ABSOLUTELY!

day 1 for Bush started when he and mossad planned the attack on the towers

i mean you saw that idiot in the botched suicide bomb clip right??  now tell me that these same stupid A-rabs could plan and execute something as complicated as 9/11

its obvious the plan was to cause instability in the middle east and take over the oil, america never wants stability in the mid east...they supply both sides just to keep them going at each other.  can you imagine the  whole mid east allied with one another??  that would be america's nightmare, biodiesel here we come!! haha

Actually my brother and I were talking. We think this whole "War on Terror" was planned FAAAAAR before 9/11. The speech is so accurate. He predicted EVERYTHING that is transpiring right now in the Middle East.

We think that all this was planned, as I said, before 9/11. All they needed was an excuse for an attack. They needed something dramatic to affect the minds of the people of America to be able to legitimize their war. Now that they have turned the terrorists (Muslims) against one another, they'll leave. The American people have finally come out of the daze of 9/11 so this war is no longer justifiable to them.

The American's will pull out, and leave the Middle East to destroy itself.

Brilliant!

LOL, are you guys joking? America is the biggest most advanced military power in the world, if the entire mid east cam together they STILL wouldn't stand a chance. The Arabs already unified and tried to wipe Israel off the map and Israel pwned them...3 times!

nasha moot mara, this isnt a video game, we're talking real life.  we're saying that america wants instability because it is good for them economically, not militarily.

military doesnt mean as much as money does, america is looking out for its economic interests.

so yea yenni if america wanted to they could drop nukes on every corner of the world and the world would end, therefore proving that america has the biggest dick in the world.  but that doesnt mean shit cause thats like that saying goes, "cutting off your nose to spite your face", it doesnt make sense.

war means money, nobody fights wars anymore to prove they are big and bad, they fight wars to gain access and control over natural resources that are valuable, ex. OIL, so again we are not saying america is scared that if the mid east joins together they will rule the world militarily, we are saying that america wants instability in the region for economic reasons.

this is politics bro, not medal of honor video game.

america.. oh america...

America and americans are going to save the world from all evil forces, and they do it out of the goodness of their hearts. They want to spread butter equality, love and all that struff that makes you warm and fuzzy from inside.

What would we have done without thee oh America?

KHAYET!!!

You said it right there, and why are you bringing up videogames? I know America is in Iraq only for the oil, but at the same time terrorists have launched a global jihad; trying to blow up oil refineries all over the world. They have already been successful in the mideast.

can you imagine the  whole mid east allied with one another??  that would be america's nightmare, biodiesel here we come!! haha

yea bro thats what i said right there.  thats why i said biodiesel here we come, yenni if the mid east is allied it would raise oil prices to crazy levels and america would have to tap into its alaska reserves or start using biodiesel.

politics is all about uldeyta.  i said videogames meaning that its not a simple thing, its not like a videogame where you just go and blow shit up, its more advanced then that.  all that you see going on is not all thats going on.  i mean you remember the iran-contra affair of the 80's.  in public america curses iran and has embargo's but on the dl they sell them arms, so if thats not proof that they want instability then i duno what is.  remember that these arms were used in the iran-iraq war, which again america supplied both sides and also dont forget that america trained osama to fight russia. so like i said, shit aint what it seems.

this is chess homie, not checkers. < again referring to how complicated things are.

p.s.-america's power lies in its technology, not its soldiers, trust me on that i know. if they couldnt pinpoint a target to be blown up from 8million miles away, they would never win in the middle east, it would be like vietnam.

Oh, we probably would have done something insignificant and futile, sort of like what we would have done if we only had Canada.

THE so called war on terorr may working in some places  but it was obvious they had no idea what the hell they were doing attacking iraq and it looks like the still dont have no idea i mean saddam used to know how to deal with these terrorists that we seen know in iraq causing mayhem ovibously attacking iraqi like they did had nothing to do with war on terroism but was for their own interests rather than helping and spreading democray through the middleast WHAT  A LIE

Completely correct. America should have choosen to join a side. I would prefer that they could have used the UN to guard the boarders while the United States takes diplomatic strategy in lifting the tensions between Kurds, Assyrians, and Iraqi Turkmen, then working their way towards lifting the tension between the Babylonian "Arabs" and perhaps even upset Iran by forcing them to give parts of their land away to the Kurds, Azeris, and Shiite Babylonian "Arabs."

This way Iraq is finally no longer a place of chaos, Iran is no longer a super structure, Assyrians no longer have to worry about being shot, and the Kurds finally have their own country.

No where near their original homeland and on the rightful land of others.

What are you talking about? There is no such thing as homeland.

Once Assyrians learn to stop whining then someone will be glad to give them their own land. But honestly, people think of you guys as nothing more than racial bigots. That is why it is so hard for you to get any support.

You should be fortunate that some kurds do want to co-exist with the Assyrians, maybe it is a minority, but there are some. Watch as their numbers dwindle to zero as you continue this rant of yours.

Oh this is rich.  Stop butchering/harrassing/meddling with us and maybe then we'll stop "whining."  Racial bigots?  Why, because we have stubbornly maintained our own language and customs despite relentless attempts to have us assimilate into your gypsy culture?  Thanks, but no thanks.

She said gypsy! Them is fightin' words!

Well, I mean come on.  His comment reminds me of the George Lopez act I saw on Comedy Central where he describes how his grandmother used to beat the crap out of him and then yell, "why you crying?!"  :bangin:

Darkseid your a joke, go do some research on what Assyrians have gone through the past 1000 years then come back and make some reasonable comments.

Everyone, for goodness' sake, show a little more respect to one another.

Darkseid, as I'm sure you're aware: this is an Assyrian-based forum, so it would be wise to demonstrate some sensitivity and courtesy when discussing our people. Based on a few words here and in other posts, you don't seem to have a high esteem for Assyrians, and to be honest, your type of talk is not wanted here if you genuinely discriminate against us in this way. Intolerance toward any group, for any reason, is unacceptable.

baklawa, provoked or not, please do watch the way you reply. So, he vaguely insults Assyrians, must you then insult him or another culture ("gypsy")? No, so please don't.

Damail, please don't refer to another member as "a joke;" if you would like him to research our people and make "reasonable comments," then you should follow your own prescription and make reasonable comments yourself.

Thanks.

Yes

Besides, the term "gypsy" was not mean as an insult; I like gypsies.....their music is cool, and I love their skirts  :angelnot:

Some GypsiQurdi boy comes on an Assyrian website bashing Assyrians and thats the best you can come up with? Was he reasonable in the first place for me to be reasonable to him now?

Enough. Your recent comment will be reported to an administrator, because it is disrespectful to another member AND to myself as moderator, and it was made after you were already warned.

If you reply again in such a way, your post(s) will be removed.

As I already said, there are rules set in place when using this site, and if respecting other members, regardless of whether you feel provoked or not, is not possible for you, then you might reconsider whether you should be replying at all.
