If the Assyrian homeland becomes a nation, which city should be the capital?

because Mosul has alot of Sunni Arabs who don't want to be part of Assyria.
Unless you can convince them to become Muslim Assyrians, I don't think they like the idea of being under a non-Muslim government.

How do you know they dont want to be apart of assyria, thats why we must move assyrians there.

Because they're Sunni Arabs, they have no connection to Assyrians who speak Aramaic and practice Christianity beyond DNA. They don't see us as Assyrians, they just see us as Christians.

I didnt understand what you were saying, but really dont you want nineveh as our capital? l think almost all assyrians want it, its a symbol for us and cultural city, it was also the greatest capital ever in our hands, greater than edessa. For me the top 3 capitals ever in assyrian hands are: 1. Nineveh, 2. Edessa, 3. Ashur

Actually either nineveh or nimrud could be our capital because both were the largest cities in the world for some time, if we make nimrud our capital we can be proud that it used to be the largest city in the world, something it will never be again.

Actually you are right, first of all the iraqi government wont let us get mosul because its important to them to have it in its control and second we will NEVER get mosul, EVER, because there is no assyrian living there and the area also have a lot of muslims there, our only chance is to make Nimrud our capital and repopulate it in the nineveh plains. What do you think?

One more thing, if we get a country it will only be the nineveh plains because l am sure they wont let us expand.
 
I just heard 4000 assyrian families have returned to nineveh, thats good, if it continues we might have a chance
