If Iraq main's religion wasn't Islam, would we have independence by now?

No we'd still be lumped with them.

I don't you quite understand that Iraq exists solely for providing oil.

The United States is now pressuring every global oil company into not buying Kurdish oil so that Kurdistan will become a 3rd world country from an oil embargo so that the Kurds will pay a price for going independent.

It's even worse considering that the Kurds have 30+ population which will be difficult to provide resources for, even with oil wealth, it'll cost alot of money every year.

Especially when considering food, education, water, social services, job markets, etc.

The Americans think they own the world.

they DO. USA is still a superpower of the world, despite being in a crappy state. USA is the largest naval power in the world. Nations who control the seas control that area of the world.

Do I need to mention the military bases USA has all over the world? The USA's economy is directed tied and is connected to the world.

If the U.S. economy falls, so does alot of the world.

Every major OPEC oil producer sells it's Oil in U.S. Dollars, many nations that tried to sell it in other currencies were invaded or toppled (Iraq, Libya, etc)

No wonder the middle east hats USA.

Too bad, the USA, Europe, and Asia consist of majority of buyers to the Middle East. If the major economies of the world fall, the Middle East will be severely affected then.

Most of the Middle East's money stems from oil. If nobody buys oil, how can the Middle East get money to provide goods to the people there?

Middle East has many chances to become a super/regional power of it's own but the many nationalities and ethnic groups in the Middle East will forever make it weak.
