Historical Photo: Assyrians Dancing in Baghdad in 1972

This is one historical photo that I just found in our family albums: it was a celebration by Assyrians for a decision by the Iraqi government in 1972, to give Assyrians and all the Syriac speaking people, cultural and other rights.

This is in the middle of Baghdad. Some of those dancing are my mother's cousins. The girls in the back wearing short skirts and dancing are also Assyrians.

Yes this is the exact photo!

I have been told about this picture from family members, some of whom were there in person.
