Hanged at dawn

I did something very pro-active, I evacuated Australia. The only thing I need to worry about is earthquakes which I am sure you and Uneek will cheer loudly if I was killed in one. Don't deny it either!

I can?t speak for Uneek, but if it isn?t abundantly clear to you that I do not wish death upon a person, from my posts, then you obviously have problems with comprehension. Or, perhaps you are, yet again, bringing up irrelevant points because you have nothing of value left in your argument so you?re trying to score some bogus sympathy points.

I did not support the death penalty. All I said was that only a moron would carry drugs into a country that has a death penalty.

I beg to differ

Moja Moja said:
Drug traffikers are murderers and should be punished the same way.

May other druggies follow his path to Singapore or Thailand or Malaysia.

You quite clearly did, twice

I also thought that it was a bit rough not allowing his mother to hug her son one last time.

You never once mentioned that. Only now, after the fact do you bring it up, funny that!

We as a nation sympathise with him but not victims of crimes. I am sorry that you don't have a concience and a heart but some of us do.

What nation are you speaking on behalf of once again? Japan or Australia? Either way, that is such a ludicrous statement. If that were true, the notion of victimization would not exist. And in specific relation to Van?s case, the Australian government would not have asked the Singaporeans to alternate his sentence to life imprisonment either there or here in Australia, they did not simply want to let him go! Just for your information, a person can sympathise with a criminal (which is also a victim) and victims themselves.

By the way, NOT supporting the execution of a 25 year old man over a drug trafficking conviction, to you, seems unconscionable and heartless? I am honored not to have your conscious and heart let me assure you.

So shooting rooms are the answer? Why do we have these in the first place?

Ever heard of harm minimisation?

Renee it is heartless because I have not once heard you mention sympathy for his victims. And when I mentioned nation, I was refering to Australia. The convict colony with the convict mentality.

First of all, he got caught so he effectively had no victims. Again, the death rates from heroin are very small so don't sensationalise it, most heroin users don't die.

You must also possess this convict mentality since you include yourself as part of this nation. If not, then zip it and don't speak as you are one.

I left it. And I refuse to talk or sound like one.

How do you know how many people he harmed or didn't harm in Australia? Are you trying to tell us something here? You seem to know that he only had the potential to harm people in Singapore. What about Australians?

*reading over Renee's messages on this website*

Ahhh, ok Renee, no need to explain. I understand perfectly now.

You know they say the first sign of insanity is answering the questions you ask yourself.

Let me say it again, less than 500 people die from heroin every year.

Suit yourself Renee. When a family members of yours dies from a drug overdose, don't be a hypocrite and start crying for their loss! You have shown here what you think of drug dealers.

Renee & MojaMoja,

You either manage to argue in a respectable manner, or keep such the opinions & attitude for yourself, this forum is not a place to exchange insults.

Uneek was suspended yesterday for 3 days, don't think what she said went un-noticed.

"digusting", "you sicken me", "zip it", etc. I wouldn't call this a civilised conversation.
