So I know there are a lot of musicians on this site. Just wondering what is the best method to learn the acoustic guitar. My brother bought me one for Christmas and I'm not really finding anything online that is helping me learn to play. Wondering if anyone here knows a good site or a book to read that can help me out with this.

If you want some in-depth lessons, head over to long&mcquade, saunder into the guitar department, and browse their videos. They have pro series to teach everything. IF you are not in the mood to buy (because of course you are paying yourself first , then you can head over to the public library. They will have all the resources that you need.

You're always saving my shourba! And don't worry, I have a budget for education and books lol this falls into that.

I'll check them out soon. I actually had to take back the guitar to them. It makes a buzzing noise when I play the first octive(?)...you know when you put your finger on the first part of the bar and pluck? lol God I need a book!
