Group C: America vs. England

I can't wait for this game man. The US has been using a lot of psychology ahead of this game, to put pressure on England. I think it is working somewhat.

But I really think we are giving the US too much credit and the English will come out strong and beat them. Maybe not with ease, but it won't be as close as we may think.

We will see...

England 3-1.  I would love it if the US can pull an upset, but the defense is very shaky right now.  We'll see how they counter attack.

Naram it could just be that it is the first game. But I am disappointed after hearing how England is great and many
nomninated it to win the world cup.

This game had just helped make a few millions more Americans interested in the game lol.

They have always been overrated, didn't qualify for the last Euro and couldn't muster more than one goal against the mighty USA.

I think you are right, the only way to have the americans watch this WC is to make them advance

The game was fixed. England and USA will make it from this round.
 
USA got walked all over until Green's butter fingers let that one in. nothing to do with Americas skill players. although they had a few close calls, the defense was terrible.

England defense was exposed over and over.  The US had better scoring chances at the end than England. What was Capello thinking with starting Green and Milner?!  He was getting beat every time on the flank.

So thanks to Gerrard and Green for the VICTORY!  Yes, a tie against the mighty British is a victory for the US.
